On January 16, 2010 we decided to try something new. Now I know going to Moab is the farthest thing from new for us, but we have never been in the winter. And waiting around for summer is just way too long!
We went to Arches with Blake, Brady Maynes, and Bud Powell (from my mission.)

The clouds were AWESOME!
So was the snow covered slickrock
And the snow. Our new camera is amazing!
Liesel is getting to be quite the little photographer.
It was actually really nice hiking in the winter. It's alot easier to stay warm when it's cold then stay cool when it's hot.
This place never gets old.
Had a really fun time and now we're WAY excited for spring. Lots more hiking blog posts coming soon. 
Isn't it great to live around such cool stuff. I guess it is becaue we know better.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful in the winter too. Sweet hat Jordan!! Not sure about the fly-eye glasses though. Love the camera. You'll have to give me tutorial if we come out there this summer. I'm ready for a new one.
